Cigna dental coverage plans
Cigna DPPO networks provide easy access to reputable dentists nationwide as well as discounts on covered dental care. When you see an in-network Cigna dentist, certain preventive care services are partially or fully covered. You pay a coinsurance (a part of the covered costs) once you meet your annual deductible and satisfy waiting periods, and the dental plan covers the remaining costs (up to the yearly or lifetime dollar limit of the plan).

Cigna Dental 1000 is a low deductible plan. Preventive and diagnostic services are estimated to be 100% covered by Cigna Dental 1000 including oral exams, cleanings, and x-rays. Simple restorative care services like tooth fillings and simple extractions are estimated to be 80% covered by this plan. Major restorative treatments like crowns, dentures, and bridges are all estimated to be 50% covered by this insurance plan. Cigna Dental 1500
Cigna Dental 1500 is a low deductible plan. With Cigna Dental 1500, preventive and diagnostic services are estimated to be 100% or fully covered. Major restorative procedures namely dental crowns, dentures, and dental bridges are estimated to be 50% covered by Cigna Dental 1500. About $250 individual annual deductible applies to all dental services which include preventive, basic, and major dental restorative services. Around $5,000 in benefits are available and can be applied towards both minor and major dental procedures, like fillings, crowns, and root canals.
